How to Create a Weebly Site

Challenge:

School administration is looking to improve the retention of guest teachers (substitutes) at their school as well as reduce the need for teachers to come into the school to leave lesson plans when they take time off.

Solution:

I determined the best solution for this would be to set every teacher up with a guest teacher website. However, many of the teachers are not familiar with the website building process. This brief training will be included as part of a staff meeting and aims to introduce teachers to the basics of creating a Weebly site. These websites could house guest teacher plans and be updated easily from mobile or desktop devices outside of school grounds if necessary.

Result:

Teachers reported a 72% satisfaction rate with the new initiative and a 94% satisfaction rate with the initial training course. Guest teachers reported overall increased satisfaction with lesson plans, citing a consistent method of delivery and a more seamless technology experience.
